Welcome to Paxton Academy
Paxton Academy Sports and Science aims to be an outstanding, innovative school offering a unique learning environment for children aged 3 - 11 years (initially). The Academy will be a fully inclusive co-educational school for local children which will offer a rich and rigorous academic and ‘all-round’ education.
Our Approach
The normal school day and week will be fully extended to enable maximum time for learning whilst catering for the needs of working parents. Our special focus on Sports and Science will enable our pupils to explore and develop their talents and abilities from a tender age. We have aspirations for producing some of tomorrow’s professional sports men/women and pioneering scientists.

We Offer
Our school will offer our Core curriculum during the morning sessions (English, maths, science, PE and RE) and then provide a range of foundation subjects such as geography, history, art, music, ICT, and languages during our afternoon sessions. For our pre-school and junior departments this will be delivered through a thematic, creative curriculum such as, the International Primary Curriculum.
